The Villa

About the house

The Villa is a recently built single-storey home in Gran Paradiso, a gated community in Venice with a manned gate around the clock. It sleeps six comfortably across three rooms, and it is set up for people who want to settle in rather than pass through.

Inside: granite counters, stainless appliances, a full laundry, and a screened porch that gets used more than any room in the house. Four bicycles live in the two-car garage, for the community trails or the ride down to Downtown Wellen.

Everything Gran Paradiso offers comes with the house — the heated resort pool and spa, four lighted tennis courts, four lighted pickleball courts, the fitness centre, and the clubhouse with its billiards table, sauna and steam room. These are shared community facilities, not private to the villa, and for most guests they are the reason to book here rather than a beach condo: the days fill themselves without getting in the car.

• One-month minimum stay.
• Check-in 4:00 PM, check-out 11:00 AM.
• Adults only.
• No pets.
• No smoking anywhere on the property.
• No events or parties.
• Cancellations: full refund more than 60 days out, 50% between 30 and 60 days, no refund inside 30 days.
